Important information about safeguarding
Safeguarding students is always our top priority. For this reason, staff who host live drop in sessions or huddle sessions will record them to ensure safety and best working practices for all involved.
We ask that all students who are taking part follow these rules:
- All students are dressed appropriately.
- All students conduct themselves in a polite and respectful manner.
- All students use appropriate language.
A breach of any of these rules will result in the student being blocked from the meeting and they will not be able to attend any future sessions.
Please note that by booking a student onto a live drop in session you are giving permission for them to be recorded for safeguarding purposes.
All sessions will be recorded on an application called ‘ZOOM’ and will be monitored and stored centrally for a period of time with accordance to GDPR legislation.
We have attached an online safety guide to using ‘ZOOM’ for your benefit. All staff will be adhering to online safety measures outlined in the document titled ‘Are you hosting?’ and we ask that you familiarise yourself and your child with the section ‘Are you a participant?’.
