Raising Aspirations - Inspiring Visit to The University of Liverpool

Sixty Year 8 students recently visited The University of Liverpool and were inspired by finding out more about the wide range of opportunities available.  During the visit students had a tour of the university facilities and completed a series of interactive activities with the Sports Science, Medicine and Engineering facilities.

The visit was the latest in a range of activities that the school is offering to students to raise aspirations and to encourage students to consider the full range of opportunities that are open to them. 

The students were an asset to the school during the visit and came away inspired about what they could achieve in the future.

Student, Elle, said “I didn’t think university was for me, but after speaking to the students in the sports faculty I will now definitely consider it!”
