School Alumni – Where are they now?

Former  student, Josh Parry, has been highly commended in the Young Reporter of the Year category at the recent 02 Media Awards. 

Josh who graduated with a first class honours degree in Journalism and works at the Liverpool Echo said “It was a real honour to be nominated for Young Reporter of the Year and even more of a surprise when I got highly commended.  I use everything the English Faculty taught me every day in my job and so I really have to thank my teachers for inspiring me to pursue a career in Journalism”.  Miss Franklin, Head of English, said “Josh was a fantastic student with a real drive and determination to succeed.  I am so proud that he is achieving awards in a career that he wanted and is proving to be successful at”.
