A group of 31 students explored the different exhibitions where they took pictures and created some drawings of the different cultural masks and creatures in the aquarium.

Joel from Year 10 said: I enjoyed the mood room where we learnt about how colour can affect your mood.”

The students will use the ideas from the trip when brainstorming for their project which is to design and make their own carnival mask inspired by sea life.

Art teacher Miss Clarke said: “The students really enjoyed the trip and were impressed and inspired by what they saw. We felt the visit would be a really effective way of giving them ideas for their own project, as well as the cultural experience of the museum and I can’t wait to see the masks they produce as a result.”
