Online Safety & Support
Online safety is included in the school’s personal development programme, such as in PSHE lessons, but we also actively encourage parents to talk to their children about any issues they may have, as this can have the strongest impact. The links and booklet below give key information, as well as where to go to get further information or support.
CAMHS Mental Health Support
CYPMHS (Children & Young People's Mental Health Services) now have a 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Line for urgent support for residents of Cheshire West, Cheshire East and Wirral on 0800 145 6485.
If you would like to make an online referral both professionals and families can do this via the http://mymind.org website. CYPMHS have also put some self-help resources on the website for children and young people at My Mind.
There are various resources in relation to supporting children & young people around Covid 19 and their mental health. Along with the poster completed by young people at Ancora House (inpatients), there is now also a social story, link to Young Minds on mental health & self- isolating, and a link to Place2be which has information for parents.
