The Birkenhead Park School proudly supported Radio City’s Mission Christmas campaign this year and registered as a drop-off point for gift donations.

1 in 3 children are living in poverty in the Merseyside area - therefore Mission Christmas has been set up by Radio City Cash for Kids in partnership with B&M and the Liverpool Echo, encouraging members of the community to buy an extra gift to donate and help ensure as many children and young people, aged 0-18, receive a present this Christmas.

Staff and students at The Birkenhead Park School donated and collected over 100 presents in total for the cause. The gifts were collected on Wednesday 16th December by Father Christmas and his helper in a festive VW Beetle, which our year 7 students helped to fill with the various toys, games and products collected.

Helen Johnson, Acting Headteacher commented, “I am delighted that The Birkenhead Park School has supported the Radio City Mission Christmas Appeal. Our wonderful students and staff have donated over 100 toys and gifts that will make a real difference to the lives of local children at this special time of the year.”
