In our latest inspection report, inspectors noted that “pupils’ experiences at this school have improved dramatically”, paving the way for a bright and ambitious future for every child.

Our amazing staff are the backbone of everything we achieve at the school. Teachers set extremely high expectations while fostering a supportive and warm classroom environment where children feel motivated to succeed, maintaining a continuous focus on innovation, inclusion, and inspiration across all year groups. To ensure every student gets the personal attention they deserve, we have designed a pastoral system where our Heads of Year are completely non-teaching staff. This allows them to focus their time entirely on student wellbeing, guidance, and daily support.

Furthermore, our award-nominated literacy programme, The Big Read, builds vital reading confidence on a daily basis, while an extensive calendar of educational visits brings learning to life both locally and internationally, such as our recent history trip to Kraków.

Inspectors also stated that pupils feel “safe, supported, and cared for in school”, which directly contributes to them wanting to be here. This welcoming atmosphere has also led to our school achieving the most improved attendance on the Wirral. We are proud to be a deeply inclusive environment where students enjoy attending school, achieve well, and feel a true sense of belonging.
